Some resumes are leaden with technical data (software applications, hardware worked with, etc.) and this can be burdensome to the reader; what works better in technical bioblogs is to trim the fat off and let the visual effect take precedence over the deconstructed text. In this bioblog, the human element of the character behind the work is clearly the more important item; the rest of the story, data-wise, is reduced to the essential elements–a tagline approach. He not only makes it clear what he does but he defines the overarching challenge of the industry per se: “the race is …” and then parallels his “project & positions” next to his “credentials” to make a powerful summary of his employability. He clearly knows his business.
