BIOBLOGS: 21ST CENTURY RESUMES

GET NOTICED, FAST & FIRST

SHOW AND DELIVER

This bioblog utilizes one of my favorite approaches, one that I created after working as a collage artist for years, where I combined found objects and printed materials to rework new meanings and messages into a frame. In this case, old comics and old ads offer a great linear juxtaposition between the broad, mundane facts (the categories of expertise and experience) versus the living person who knows all this stuff. It breaks stereotypes. It not only shows that the candidate has a solid background in his industry, but that he has a sense of humor. And being quick and decisive in his business is critical—timing is everything in law and finance—and makes a lighthearted statement of it, just to throw it down on the table, so someone can ask, What does this mean, “the fastest man alive”?
