BIOBLOGS: 21ST CENTURY RESUMES

GET NOTICED, FAST & FIRST

THE RELUCTANT FIRE DIVER

Here’s an example of a bioblog completely carried by an image that has absolutely nothing obvious to do with the job hunter’s vocation; in fact, it is an image that could be applied to any of a number of jobs. The image is there to grab: remember, we are fishing on the fly, looking for a smart trout that we outsmart. There’s the fun part. We’re above and beyond casting chum overboard and waiting for the sharks to show up. If we are special, and by that I mean especially valuable in terms of potential and value-for-the-$, then we ought to take a different tact than the others on the pier, who sit and wait . . . and wait, wait, wait.
